Escape Disasters for Memes - Speed Guide

Speed is the most important stat in Escape Disasters for Memes. You need it to outrun tsunamis, reach rare memes, and unlock rebirth tiers.

Why Speed is King

Speed determines everything: which disasters you can escape, how far into the field you can travel, and which rebirth tiers you can unlock. Prioritize speed upgrades over everything else in early and mid-game.

Speed vs Disasters

Blue Tsunami

Required: ~10 Speed. Even starting speed can outrun blue waves with good timing.

Yellow Tsunami

Required: 50+ Speed. Matches your sprint - need buffer for safe escape.

Red Tsunami (OP)

Required: 100+ Speed. Extremely fast - only max speed players can outrun.

Tornados

Speed helps dodge, but they fling rather than kill. Can use for travel!

Speed Upgrade Strategy

Cost Scaling

Each level of speed costs more than the last. Early levels are cheap, but reaching 100 speed requires significant income. Plan your purchases around rebirth milestones.

Speed Before Memes

In early game, always prioritize speed over meme leveling. Higher speed lets you access better memes, which provide better income for future upgrades.

Rebirth Planning

Since rebirth requires specific speed levels, calculate how much cash you need to reach the next tier. Spend ALL cash on speed before rebirthing.

The 100 Speed Goal

100 Speed is the ultimate milestone - it unlocks Pro status, max base, and allows you to safely hunt in the Deep Field for Mythical and Secret memes.
